Oak Bowery Baptist was organized September 6, 1852, as Oak Bowery Missionary Baptist Church. Originally a church plant to the Middleton Community near Ohatchee, Oak Bowery is a member church of the Southern Baptist Convention. The Bible is our authority for faith and practice, and the church accepts the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.

     Our mission is simple: "As members of Oak Bowery Baptist Church we are Loving Jesus, Loving others and Leading others to love Jesus too."
